Delete your Jōb account

Jōb — Job Search Companion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly from within the app or by contacting us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to delete your account from the app

1. Open the Jōb app and go to Profile

2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account

3. Confirm the deletion when prompted

What gets deleted

Your account and login credentials
All job applications and history
Your CV and any uploaded files
Your daily goals and streak data
Your notification preferences
All AI companion conversation history

What is retained

Anonymised, aggregated analytics data that cannot be traced back to you
Transaction records required by law for up to 7 years (purchase history only)

Data deletion timeline

Your account and all personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days of your request. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Delete without closing your account

You can also delete specific data without deleting your account:

CV: Profile → CV section → Remove CV
Individual applications: Open any application → scroll to bottom → Delete

Request deletion by email

If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by contacting us at support@job-app.com with the subject line "Account deletion request" and the email address associated with your account.
