Jōb (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a job search tracking application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
When you register, we collect your email address, name, and country. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google account.
With your explicit consent, Jōb connects to your Gmail account to read job-related emails. We use this access exclusively to identify and classify application status updates (such as application confirmations, assessment invitations, interview scheduling, offers, and rejections). We do not read, store, or process personal, financial, or unrelated emails.

We do not access emails outside this scope, and we never read or store emails from your Sent folder for classification purposes.
We store the application records derived from your Gmail data, including company names, role titles, application status, dates, and any manual edits you make.
We collect basic usage analytics (such as which screens you visit and how often you use the app) to improve the product.
Jōb uses RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play Store to process subscription payments. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or payment details. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat in accordance with their own privacy policies.
If you choose to upload your CV or resume, we store the file securely and generate a condensed summary of your background (skills, experience, education) to power more personalized responses from the AI companion feature. This is entirely optional — the app’s core functionality works without it. You can remove your uploaded CV at any time from your profile, which permanently deletes the file and its summary from our systems.

Jōb’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Gmail data for advertising purposes, and we do not allow humans to read your email data except in the limited circumstances permitted by Google’s policy (such as with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with the law).
We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, secure authentication tokens, and access controls) to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Jōb is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via email.
